Griffin grew up in Ohio cutting his musical teeth on Luther Vandross, George Benson, Al Jarreau, and Earth, Wind, and Fire to name a few of his favorites. And you can definitely hear those influences in his music.

His bandmembers noticed that he had a pretty good first Tenor voice so they decided to stick him out front. At last his true calling was realized. Over the years Stan has nurtured and honed his vocal skills and has developed a commanding stage presence that can only be described in one word, "Sensational!"
