ELECTION PRIMARIES ARE ON THE HORIZONElection primaries are just around the corner now, and the Editors and staff of the Kenton Co. Observer will be giving you news and information about the candidates, their views and their platform so that you can be well informed and cast your vote with confidence. We will be publishing a special election issue during April, in which all of the candidates will be invited to present their messages and ideas to the voters. It is our hope that each and every voter will go out and exercise his or her right to be heard and represented by casting their votes. It is up to us as citizens to make known our wishes to the people that we elect to be our representatives. The primaries on May 8, 2002 will find only six races with un-opposed candidates, assuming no other withdrawals occur. Those candidates are Bill Aylor for Kenton Co. Clerk, Mary L. Blount for Kenton Co. magistrate in District 2, Mark E. Vogt for Kenton County PVA David W. Suethoiz, MD for the County Coroner, Charles L. Korzenborn for Sheriff and Ron Ferrier for Constable.
